Lucy is a Strength & Conditioning Specialist with well-rounded experiences surrounding Sports Performance & Sports Medicine. She recently came from Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA where she assisted with a number of the 36 Olympic sports teams in Sports Performance. Prior to that, she directed the Olympic Sports Performance programs at Laguna Beach High School and was an assistant pole vault coach at her alma mater UC Irvine. She also has experience working with all populations; from high level athletes to amputee patients in outpatient sports rehabilitation clinics. She has worked with UC Irvine Sports Medicine, UCLA Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine, and Veteran Affairs inpatient rehabilitation.
She completed her Masters in Kinesiology at A.T. Still University with concentrations in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and Strength & Conditioning. She is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and as a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach. Lucy loves to compete and currently is a competitive olympic weightlifter after retiring as a NCAA Division I pole vaulter. While she is passionate about Sports Performance and Sports Medicine, she is involved with nonprofits working with underserved communities in the DFW area and enjoys hiking in her free time.
